<h2>Make gothic picture</h2>
<p>The idea of this Tutorial is to add a sort of gothic feel to the picture. Lets call it dark make up.</p>
<p><img src="photo/gothic/9mmstock123456789-12.jpg" alt="" width="527" height="302" /></p>
<p><span id="more-176"></span></p>
<p>But this is for beginners mostly.</p>
<p>If you have Photoshop 7 this few steps will be really easy to follow.</p>
<p>I´m pretty sure Photoshop 6 and maybe 5 also have this same tools.</p>
<p>To get started, pick a picture you want to manipulate, or use this same one.</p>
<p><img src="photo/gothic/9mmstock.jpg" alt="" width="496" height="325" /></p>
<p>1) Use the tool named <em>DODGE TOOL</em> (o) to get a whiter effect over the skin. You can find it in the left tool bar.</p>
<p><img src="photo/gothic/dodge%20tool.jpg" alt="" width="113" height="365" /></p>
<p>I usually use that tool in a <em>%45</em> exposure.</p>
<p><img src="photo/gothic/9mmstock12.jpg" alt="" width="496" height="325" /></p>
<p>2) Now we will desaturate the skin color with the<em> SPONGE TOOL</em> also in the left tool bar. %100 flow.</p>
<p>Look for it in the same place where the <em>DODGE TOOL</em> is, you just have to click over it, and you will see another two options hidden in the same place. (my english sucks, I know it, but try to follow&#8230;)</p>
<p><img src="photo/gothic/dodge%20options.jpg" alt="" width="170" height="381" /></p>
<p>Now that the skin looks dead enough, will work on the eyes.</p>
<p><img src="photo/gothic/9mmstock123.jpg" alt="" width="496" height="325" /></p>
<p>3) now pick the <em>DODGE TOOL</em> again, and apply it over the eyes.</p>
<p><img src="photo/gothic/9mmstock1234.jpg" alt="" width="496" height="325" /></p>
<p>4) Pick a color you like for the eyes. I like light blue&#8230;</p>
<p>Use the color with an opacity of <em>%18</em>, we dont want to lose all the little details of the eye.</p>
<p><img src="photo/gothic/9mmstock123456.jpg" alt="" width="496" height="325" /></p>
<p>5) If you want to add more light to the eye, use a regular brush, white color, and select <em>MODE: COLOR DODGE %35</em> opacity.</p>
<p><img src="photo/gothic/color%20dodge.jpg" alt="" width="334" height="402" /></p>
<p>Like this&#8230;</p>
<p><img src="photo/gothic/9mmstock1234567.jpg" alt="" width="496" height="325" /></p>
<p>6) Now the make up&#8230;</p>
<p>Black color, opacity <em>%18</em>, and apply it around the eye a few times. Darker in the center, and softer on the edges.</p>
<p><img src="photo/gothic/9mmstock12345678.jpg" alt="" width="496" height="325" /></p>
<p>7) You can also work on the mouth with the <em>BURN TOOL</em> also placed below the <em>DODGE TOOL</em>.</p>
<p>This tool is very good when you need to add shadows or you want something to look darker.</p>
<p>Also, dont forget to use the <em>BLUR TOOL</em> to correct the skin, and make it look softer and silky.</p>
<p><img src="photo/gothic/9mmstock123456789-1.jpg" alt="" width="496" height="325" /></div>

<td>A basic hair tutorial&#8230; <img src='http://www.phototutorial.info/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> Fear my messy painting!</p>
<p>At the final stage we will get real hair, something like this:<br />
<img src="photo/hair/hair9.jpg" alt="" width="512" height="512" /><br />
<span id="more-172"></span></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Step 1 - Choose a fairly neutral base color to start with.</p>
<p><img src="photo/hair/hair1.jpg" alt="" width="512" height="512" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Step 2 - Decide what color you want the hair to be and start to block in the general shape of your hairstyle.</p>
<p><img src="photo/hair/hair2.jpg" alt="" width="512" height="512" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Step 3 - With a darker color, begin to accentuate the shadows. Usually hair lays down in clumps and layers so try not to focus on individual hairs and lines, get the shape down first:</p>
<p><img src="photo/hair/hair3.jpg" alt="" width="512" height="512" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Step 4 -Here I&#8217;ve started to smooth out my coloring a bit&#8230; you&#8217;ll also note that I am a veeeery messy painter. This doesn&#8217;t work well for everybody, but it works ok for me. I like to start sloppy and tighten things up as the image progresses. <img src='http://www.phototutorial.info/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><img src="photo/hair/hair4.jpg" alt="" width="512" height="512" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Step 5 - I use a custom brush consisting of several small dots to sweep in &#8220;strands&#8221; of hair. This way works quickest and easiest for me. We&#8217;re still bumping up those highlights and shadows.</p>
<p><img src="photo/hair/hair5.jpg" alt="" width="512" height="512" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Step 6 - I applied a shadow &#8220;under&#8221; the hair since there is no face&#8230; that way its not floating <img src='http://www.phototutorial.info/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> Remember that your hair will more than likely cast shadows across the face of your figure, if you forget that part you will often lose depth in the image. Again I&#8217;ve smoothed out some of my painting:</p>
<p><img src="photo/hair/hair6.jpg" alt="" width="512" height="512" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Step 7 - I&#8217;ve brought out more individual clumps of hair and started to add a little more fine detail at this point:</p>
<p><img src="photo/hair/hair7.jpg" alt="" width="512" height="512" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Step 8 -With a finer brush I&#8217;m still sweeping in some of the smaller hairs&#8230; try not to get too hung up on that though. Lots of stringy hairs don&#8217;t look very good. ;D</p>
<p><img src="photo/hair/hair8.jpg" alt="" width="512" height="512" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Step 9 - This is the last step <em>in the tutorial</em>. If I were actually painting I would take this further, and so should you. <img src='http://www.phototutorial.info/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> I&#8217;ve deepened the shadows in several areas to accentuate the way the layers fall. I also brushed in some brighter strands of hair and cleaned up the &#8220;part&#8221;.</p>
<p><img src="photo/hair/hair9.jpg" alt="" width="512" height="512" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Step 10 - Just some color adjustments for fun, blue hair. Blue is gooooood. <img src='http://www.phototutorial.info/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><img src="photo/hair/hair10.jpg" alt="" width="512" height="512" /></td>
</tr>
</tbody>
